We at Business Hand Sàrl believe that the future of logistics depends on how we engage, inspire, and recruit the next generation. That’s why we want to share the story from ASTAG Central Switzerland Section’s participation at ZEBI 2025 — a milestone event that brought transport and logistics careers to life for thousands of young people.

This initiative reflects our values: hands-on experience, strong partnerships, and strategic outreach. It’s a model worth celebrating and replicating across borders.

In Hall 4 of ZEBI, opened for the first time, everything revolved around the professions of mobility, transport, and logistics. Under the title “move your future”, interprofessional associations and companies joined forces to bring their diverse professional worlds to life—with truck driving courses, railway construction activities, and a highly popular forklift skills challenge that directly invited young people to participate.

Hall 4 impressively demonstrated how broad and future-oriented these professions truly are. ASTAG, SWISS LOGISTICS by ASFL ASFC and login Vocational Training AG presented central professional profiles such as heavy and light vehicle drivers, logisticians, and railway transport specialists. The hall was designed as an immersive industry world, with trucks, hands-on construction stations, and a forklift challenge that drew over 1,200 participants.

Exhibitors included Galliker Transport AG, F. Stuber Transporte AG, Düring Schweiz AG, Gabriel Transport AG, Camion Transport, and others. Their vehicles, expertise, and practical demos made the sector’s diversity visible and sparked meaningful exchanges with youth.

The truck driving course was a standout. Young visitors completed tasks to earn a driving voucher, then took the wheel with professional instructors — combining excitement with career relevance.

The collaborative presence of ASTAG, SWISS LOGISTICS, login, and leading companies created a unified impact far beyond individual stands.

“This joint concept creates a real space for experience. We can do much more for the professional world of our Section and convey the professions to visitors more closely and authentically than ever before.” — Christian Kempter-Imbach, President ASTAG Central Switzerland

International guests, including Matt Mindrum (President & CEO of INDY CHAMBER, USA), visited Hall 4 and praised the concept.

This joint initiative marks a milestone for ZEBI and sets a powerful precedent for future recruitment strategies.
